The members of the IJBBA would like to thank the Bill and Gail Davis, owners of Chimney Rock Cattle
for the generous donation
|

one of their intended replacement heifers, Ms CRC Newt 237T, to the Junior Brangus Association
as the 2008 Foundation Heifer.
|
A group of generous buyers pooled their resources and bid $16,000 to own Ms CRC Newt 237T and benefit the foundation fund of the IJBBA.
The sale of the heifer kicked off the International Genetic Edge Sale in Houston.
As custom, the buyers names were assembled for a drawing and one name is drawn to own the heifer. Joe and Joy Reznicek, Cow Creek Ranch, of Alabama were the lucky winners and they announced they would donate the heifer back to sell in an upcoming sale to again benefit the IJBBA.
