The members of the IJBBA would like to thank Dr Randy Schmidt, owner of Schmidt Farms for the generous donation of one of his replacement heifers, SF MISS TIN MAN 101U4, to the Junior Brangus Association as the 2009 Foundation Heifer.

A group of generous buyers pooled their resources and bid $15,500 to own SF Miss Tin Man 101U4 and benefit the foundation fund of the IJBBA.
The sale of the heifer kicked off the International Genetic Edge Sale in Houston. Buyers included:
